Keith Shindler is the founding attorney of Shindler & Joyce (Law Offices of Keith S. Shindler, Ltd.). Keith built the firm from a small two employee practice to what it is today, a booming Creditor’s Rights firm operating in four states. Keith started his legal career collecting medical accounts for his father’s multi-location medical clinics. Medical collections remain an active portfolio of Shindler & Joyce.
Michael Joyce is a partner with the law firm and manager of litigation. He started at the firm in 2010 in the new suits department and worked his way to being offered a partnership within just a few years. Michael has gained extensive legal experience in the area of Creditor’s rights having litigated over 100 bench trials to completion (including credit card litigation). Three years’ experience collecting on hospital delinquencies.
Brain graduated in 1999 from Eureka Collage and from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2002. He is licensed in Illinois (2003) and Wisconsin (2019). Brian started with the Shindler & Joyce in November 2017.
Nick graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in 2015 and Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2019. He joined Shindler & Joyce in August 2020 and has been a licensed attorney in the state of Illinois since 2019.
Jeff graduated from Marquette University in 2003 and from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2006. He has been a licensed attorney in the state of Illinois since 2006 and joined Shindler & Joyce in December of 2014.
Barrie graduated from the University of Iowa in 1988 from John Marshall Law School in June of 1991. He has been a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois since November of 1991. Barrie joined Shindler & Joyce in October of 2017.
Mark attended Ball State University as an undergraduate and graduated in 2002. He worked as a teacher and a youth counselor before going back to school to get his law degree. He graduated from Valparaiso School of Law in 2009 and was licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana in the same year. Mark started with Shindler & Joyce in March 2020. He is married with two kids, the oldest of which is getting ready to graduate high school and is a huge football fan.
